How cute are these fondant sheep? Ridiculously adorable if you ask me.

I just want to stare at them and take care of them and take them home. Oh wait, they are home.

Since Chinese New Year is just around the corner, I thought of showing how to make these incredibly cute sheep.

Fondant Sheep Tutorial

Materials:

  • Fondant in White and Ivory
  • Fondant tools (Ball Tool and Half Moon Tool)
  • White Sprinkles
  • Black Dragees
  • Water and brush to glue things together
  • Toothpicks

Instructions:

  • Roll white fondant into an oval shape. This will be the body of the sheep.

  • Form 4 small balls from the ivory fondant. This will be the sheep’s feet
  • To make the head, get some ivory fondant and roll into a tear shape. Roll a small fondant for the nose then using the half moon fondant tool, press two half circles below the nose.
  • For the ears, roll small ivory fondant into two tear shapes and curl outward.

  • Add the eyes using the black dragees.
  • Brush water into the body of the sheep and press white sprinkles on it.
  • To assemble, form the four small ivory fondant with 2 in the front and two at the back. Place the body on top of the feet
  • Add the head with toothpicks for support.
